Landing.jobs
Landing.jobs is a tech recruitment platform based out of Lisbon, Portugal designed to help tech professionals find jobs all over Europe. At landing.jobs I was Performance Marketing Manager and I was responsible for ideating and executing social and paid campaigns across all digital platforms, assisting the designer with content creation, wrote copy for blogs and website, and led branding as well as acquisition of attendees for our international event (Tech Hiring Conference in Lisbon and Berlin).
I originally started at Landing.jobs for a summer internship. I had wanted to gain experience living and working abroad. After less than a month at my internship, I was offered a full-time job. Living and working in Portugal has been one of the most valuable experiences I have ever had - I learned and grew so much as a person and professional and I will forever be grateful for my experience.
This job allowed me to gain experience in a growth marketing position while also working closely with graphic and UX designers. This role is what helped me to learn that I have a passion for creative strategy and branding and therefore started the directional career change into a hybrid creative + performance marketing career.
May 2018 - August 2019
I worked alongside our graphic and UX designers to create branding materials to be used for D2C and B2B marketing purposes. I used analytic understanding from our campaigns to best produce content that would appeal to our tech/engineer community.
During my time at Landing.jobs I wrote or reviewed copy for most of the blogs we were posting at the time. I also worked alongside artists and designers to come up with the graphics to accompany the write-ups. The objective of our blog was to help our community, share product updates, and provide material to bring people back to our platform.
At our events in Lisbon and Berlin, aside from leading marketing efforts for acquisition and branding, I also partook in several talks and learning sessions with our speakers and guests.
